The beauty of books on tape courtesy of Boston Public Library

My parents used to read to my siblings and I before we went to bed at night. That love of reading has stayed with me which is why I was really happy when, since I joined the Boston Public Library, I found out that anyone with a Boston Public Library membership can download audio books to their computers/iPhones/iPads. I also found out that it's also possible to download e-books for Amazon Kindles. Although the download links to these books expire when the lending period (2 weeks) ends, I've really enjoyed listening to books like The Hunger Games series.  Even if you don 't live in the Boston area I'm pretty sure that other libraries offer the same service in most states of the US.

If you live in Massachusetts and are interested in learning more about the audio books/e-book services check out this website: http://overdrive.bpl.org/39AE1B44-059B-46C5-9E56-EB1A88622848/10/380/en/BrowseAudio.htm.
