I've been wearing glasses
Since I was an itty bitty four-year -old
Like a pirate I wanted to be, I had an eye patch on one eye
To make the other eye get going- Ay Ay matie!
The thing I like about glasses
Is they help make people stronger
More able to see the dayAnd celebrate it longer!
Glasses helped me in so many ways
Because of them I love reading and writing
And I couldn't have written this blog without them
In short, because of glasses I have much better days!
So even if people get teased for them
I think glasses really are the coolest thing around
Because I know without them
I'd always be falling down!
