Why I like earrings

I was just thinking today
How nice it is to accessorize
It makes me feel happier
To wear earrings to wear earrings
That sparkle and shine

I like the sparkly earrings
Just because they make me feel good inside
It's nice to feel a bit more dressed up
And all it takes is a couple pieces of jewelry
To make me feel spiffy

Sometimes its nice to feel
Like I'm dressed up to the nines
If only so I can walk outside
And have the satisfaction of knowing
I look just fine

I like feeling pretty
Just for its own sake
I may not feel that way often
But when I do
It's nice to feel that great!
