I always thought it was rather strange when people would say dogs and cats can't get along. I found this video about a dog who became a friend and protector of a kitten. I just thought the story was really sweet as it shows how even the most unlikely friendships can be formed. I very much like dogs and so I was happy when I found this lovely video about an old woman who befriended her neighbors’ Saint Bernard dog. I liked the story because the dog helped the woman gain a new lease on life. It shows the power that a dog can have in changing someone’s life and being a source of hope. September 1st always felt like the start of Autumn to me and it's a season I've always rather liked. In the autumn where I live the temperature is just right and I've always liked how the leaved change color. It makes me feel good inside to see the trees with different colored leaves. As I grew up in a rural area it's always been really nice to pick apples, carve pumpkins and drink apple cider. For all those reasons, autumn makes me happy and so I wish everyone a happy autumn!
