My favorite holiday song

 I've always rather liked Christmas music and so I'm sharing one of my favorite holiday pieces of music here. It's a piece of music called Sleigh Ride and although this version of it doesn't have words, it makes me happy when I hear it. I share it here in the hope that it has the same effect on others. The way I see it "home" doesn't necessarily have to be a specific building. "Home" can be the people you're with and the people you love. To me "home" is somewhere where you feel best.  The singer Frank Sinatra was born today in 1915. When I think of him I think of this song I heard him sing called Young At Heart. I like it because the song tells of the happiness and good things that being young at heart can bring.  It's the actress Rita Moreno's birthday and because she's someone I really admire, I thought I'd share this interview she did with Stephen Colbert. I like the interview because she starts it out by dancing. I also think she's got a lot of really interesting and profound things to say. Just some peaceful music for a Sunday

 So my chorus (Polymnia Choral Society) sang this song called Ecce Novum during our most recent holiday concert and I've always found that it made me feel at peace when I hear/sing it. Thus, I'm sharing the song here in the hope it has the same effect on others. The chorus in the video is another chorus because video from our concert has not yet been posted and I saw this video and felt it was equally as lovely.
