A really sweet choir

 I sing in the choir at my church and today we had a bunch of kids from the congregation come and sing with us. I liked it because it's always nice to hear children singing and having fun. It was nice that they got so enthusiastic about it too. It reminded me of when I was little and I used to sing in my school's choir. It was usually really early in the morning but it made me happy to sing.  I think I enjoy singing more now because I had a lot of fun with it when I was younger. Good things in my day

 As I continue on my quest to find good things in each day, here are some good things that happened in my day. Wherever you're reading this, I hope that you find many good things in each day.

• Today I found out an audiobook I wanted to listen to was available through my library (the book is called Magpie Murders) and that made me happy.
• I made time to play my guitar today and it always makes me feel good to make music.
• I relaxed today which was much needed.

Just something a little spooky

 I saw this video of a singer singing the song Poor Unfortunate Soul from the movie The Little Mermaid. I really liked it because it seemed to me that it was just the right mix of spookiness and fun. Good things that happened today

 I felt that it's really important to find the good things in this day so here are some good things that happened in my day.

• I was able to help people get the supplies they need for their work.
• I made some chili and ate it for dinner and it tasted good, especially on a cold day.
• I attended a talk given my a Native American activist which was really interesting and made me evaluate how I view the area where I live and the history that I want to learn more about.

How far we've come and how far we can go

 Sometimes when I'm feeling as though I need to be brave, I think about the things I've experienced in my life, both the good and the bad. Then I think about how, if I could have those experiences and learn from them, then I can face whatever the future holds for me. I hope that wherever you are reading this, you can look back on your life so far and think about all that you have achieved and how far you've come and use those memories to show yourself that so much is possible. The big jigsaw puzzle

I really like the idea that  everything and everyone in life has a place to fill and that every life has a purpose. Plus, I've always rather liked jigsaw puzzles regardless of how frustrating they can be. Feeling the fresh air

To me, there's always been something nice about fresh air and the wind blowing through my hair. I remember when I was a small child, I used to think that when the wind blew lightly on my face, especially summer, that was people watching over me and sending good wishes. It might sound irrational but it was a comforting thought at the time. To this day, I still like being out in the fresh air as it does my spirit good. Even Koalas need hugs

 I saw this really sweet video of this koala bear getting hugs from a zookeeper and it reminded me of how great a hug is. It's the feeling of safety that a hug brings that I like best. Good things that happened today

 In keeping with my efforts to find good things in each day, here are some good things that happened in my day today.

• I was able to take a nice walk. It always helps me to be in nature and be warmed by it.
• I had a nice dinner of some soup that my Mum made me when she visited me recently.
• I was able to watch Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring which is a movie that somehow always seems to make me feel comforted.

A lovely dinner

 I just had a lovely dinner with a good friend. It was nice to sit and talk and eat with her because I hadn't seen her in a while. Freedom through music
