Some beautiful music

Today I heard this beautiful rendition of the song "Pure Imagination" played on the piano. Since listening to this song helped me feel relaxed, I thought I'd share it here in the hope that it has the same effect on other people. I send everyone best wishes and much love now and always.

A great concert

I realize this is rather long after the fact, but I wanted to share a recording of a concert given by Polymnia Choral Society this spring. It was a cabaret concert where Polymnia members sang songs of their choosing to raise money for our choir's future performances. I share it here to show how much fun Polymnia is and how much music makes me happy.  If you are in Massachusetts, Polymnia starts rehearsals again on 9/5 starting at 7PM at Melrose Highlands Congregational Church- 355 Franklin St, Melrose, MA 02176.

 

 

When you're not looking for it....

 It's amazing the things you find when you are NOT looking for them. I was all upset yesterday evening because I thought my debit card was irrevocably lost so I was looking all over for it and I found: the cough drops I was hunting for last week, 50 cents I didn't know I had in my purse, the sock I thought I'd lost in the coin laundry and like 3 things of chapstick I lost a while back. Then I stopped looking for the stupid debit card and went to bed. Today I woke up and suddenly the debit card was magically on my desk in my minion container where I'd somehow left it (still not sure why I left it there.) Clearly, the Minions are hiding things from me but I still love them anyway. Regardless of anything, if you are looking for something and you're stressed about it,  I hope you find it and many other things you were looking for in the past.  I send everyone best wishes and much love now and always.

My favorite number

 143 is my favorite number because the words "I love you" has 1, 4 and 3 letters respectively. So whenever I see the number 143 it makes me smile because it reminds me of how important it is to love people and how good it feels to be loved in return. Three good things

 In my continued effort to find good things that happen in each day, here are 3 good things that happened in my day today. 

1. I was able to have a nice lunch with friends.
2. I was able to organize group activities with my coworkers and we had a lot of fun today.
3. I was able to celebrate my neighbor's 96th birthday by buying them a cupcake which he liked.

Three good things

 In my quest to find at least 3 good things in each day, here are 3 good things that happened in my day today

1-I've been sick with a cold and finally found some medication that helps relieve the symptom so I feel much better.

2-I was able to participate in a Commission on Disability meeting for my town, we're working on making our city more accessible to people with disabilities and I enjoy those meetings.

3-I had a nice dinner of soup which made me feel good.
