I saw this story of how a dog was rescued after being abandoned during Hurricane Milton. I know the story starts out sad, it does come to a happy ending where the dog was rescued and is now safe and well cared for. I post the story here because it reminds me of how even if/when horrible things happen, there is always so much hope and opportunity for good things to happen and that that goodness can spread. For example, the story of that dog has helped spur renewed efforts to find other dogs forever homes as well. Wherever you are reading this, I hope that you can always find good things to think about, even in difficult situations. I've found that if I can focus on something positive, it does help me in times of need. At the very least, it's helpful to think that there is always hope for something better to come. I saw this really cool story on the news about a street performer who sings opera songs on a sidewalk in Philadelphia. I liked it because I’m also learning to sing opera music. I heard this song today and had to share it here because it's just so sweet. It made me think of how to me, the best hugs are hugs that are like a gift being given and received by two people at the same time. I saw this story the other day about a British politician who works with a guide dog. I liked the story because it shows how awesome dogs can be and also I think it’s awesome that more people with disabilities are getting involved in politics.
