Three good things for today

 In keeping with my efforts to find at least 3 good things that help me feel happy in each day, here are three good things that happened in my day today. 

1.  I was able to visit with friends today and to give and receive many hugs from them.
2. I sent a birthday gift to a friend and giving gifts always helps me feel happier.
3. I planned to meet with a friend for dinner tomorrow and it's always nice to have something to look forward to.

About a conversation between a dog and a man

 

Walking back home today I was stopped at a crosswalk waiting for the light to change and on the other side of the street also waiting for the light was a man and his dog. Watching them it was almost like I could see the dog's thought process like they were having a conversation. This is how it went:

 

Man: Sit, Rufus , Sit!

Dog: Arf, No! Arf! I won't sit! Fooey on you! Arf

Man: Come on, sit!

Dog: Arf! No! Arf!

[light changes]

Man: Fine, you win, come on Rufus, let's go home.

Dog:: [Running happily next to Man] Arf, it's so great my human is well trained! Arf!
