Two things that have really helped me

 Two things that have really helped me throughout my life are hope and love. Yes, it's true they aren't tangible things, but hope and love are things I can focus on in times of need.  Somehow, having the hope that things will get better and the knowledge that I can love and be love has made all the difference in my life, especially in hard situations. One thing that has helped me in times of need

One idea that has always helped me (in good times and bad) is the fact that love will always exist. As long as people are willing to love each other and are willing to express that love by helping each other, there is hope. The fact there are so many people, (including people I know personally) who have dedicated their lives to helping others live better and thrive, gives me hope. With these things in mind, I cannot despair. I send much love to everyone now and always.

The story of a rescued dog

 I saw this story of how a dog was rescued after being abandoned during Hurricane Milton.  I know the story starts out sad, it does come to a happy ending where the dog was rescued and is now safe and well cared for. I post the story here because it reminds me of how even if/when horrible things happen, there is always so much hope and opportunity for good things to happen and that that goodness can spread.  For example, the story of that dog has helped spur renewed efforts to find other dogs forever homes as well.  Wherever you are reading this, I hope that you can always find good things to think about, even in difficult situations. I've found that if I can focus on something positive, it does help me in times of need. At the very least, it's helpful to think  that there is always hope for something better to come.
