A lovely concert

 I just got back this evening from performing in a concert with Polymnia Choral Society which was really fun. We sang songs from Broadway shows including “Something Rotten”, “Dear Evan Hansen,” Wicked” and “Matilda”. It always makes my heart feel good to sing with a really fun group of people. Plus, I like the music we sang and the fact that the audience was really into it. I’m not sure if this particular concert was recorded but to give you an idea of how fun Polymnia’s concerts are, I’m including a recording of a concert we held last year called “Earth Wind and Choir” which was also really fun! Three good things in my day today

 In keeping with my efforts to find 3 good things in each of my days, here are 3 good things that happened in my day today.

*I was able to sing in my local choir, which was really fun.

*I was able to take a  walk and enjoy the sunshine, which was also nice.

*I made a nice dinner for myself, which was very satisfying.

Celebrating Elgar

 The composer Edward Elgar was born today in 1857 and to celebrate this day, I’m sharing a piece of music he wrote called Enigma Variations. I like it because it helps me relax.
