 I just got back from seeing the movie Minions and Monsters With some friends, which was really fun! I don’t know what it is about minions, but they always seem to make me laugh a lot which is a nice thing. Celebrating Louis Jordan

The saxophonist, vocalist, songwriter and bandleader, Louis Jordan was born today in 1908. He was known as the “King of the Jukebox” and was famous for performing jazz and blues songs. I saw a recording of him playing “Let the Good Times Roll” and because it made me smile, I’m sharing it here in the hope it has the same effect on others. Yo can listen to the song here. It’s the singer Ringo Starr’s birthday today and in celebration of this, I’m sharing the song “ Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da because he’s famous for singing it as part of The Beatles.
