A lovely morning at the beach

I'm happy because my parents came to visit today for the weekend and so I took the day off work and we went to Revere Beach which was really fun. It was especially nice because the weather was lovely. The sky and the ocean were so blue it almost seemed to me as though they blended together. Walking along the beach got me thinking about some music I heard from the soundtrack of the movie "Up" called "married life." It really is very jolly and it just seems perfect to listen to when one is at the beach because it's so cheerful. I hope that everyone has had a very happy Friday!

Happy birthday to my Mum

I really have an awesome Mum
And her birthday is today
She has a talent for making life fun

I love my sister and brother!

Ok, I realize this is late but yesterday was siblings day and so I thought I'd write about how much I love my brother and sister. I love having a sister and a brother because we're always there for each other. It's nice to have inside jokes that no one else really understands and I like how even if we disagree, we stick together anyhow. My life is better because of their influence.  They really are the best!

Just because this made me laugh today

Today I was in a silly mood and felt the need to laugh so when I found the clip below which really made me laugh. (I guess it's my juvenile sense of humor coming out!) Anyway wherever you might be, I hope you had a nice day and I wish everyone an even better tomorrow!

Birthday

There's something nice about birthdays just because I believe birthdays are a blessing. I'm another year older today but I like the idea that everyone really is just a young person who has been around for a while. If it's your birthday as well, I hope that your day is a very happy one and I send you warmest wishes! Just to be silly, here's a funny video from me to you!

It's Elementary!

The comedian/singer Tom Lehrer was born today in 1928 and I always liked his songs because they make me laugh so much. One Song I really like is called "The Elements." Mostly I liked it because my Mum introduced me to it when I was in high school and struggling with my science class. Although I still can't recite the elements, the song is fun to listen to and it still brings a smile to my face.

Make someone happy

I was listening to some music online today and this song called "Make Someone Happy" sung by Jimmy Durante came on and even though it's a romantic love song, it got me thinking about how good it feels to see people happy and to have the possibility of playing a role in helping people be happy. It really is a lovely feeling and it never fails to make me feel good inside. My hope for all those who read this is that you decide to help others be happy because happiness should be shared and spread!
