I find this quote encouraging because I feel like most of the time I don't know what's coming but I do know that because I've gotten through what came before, then I have a sense of certainty that I can meet what comes, whether it's good or bad and get through it. I think that's true of people in general. It always puzzles me when people say they don't think they could do/go through things that other people have gone through. I think that if people have to go through something, they do it and they get through it.  I think people in general are so brave and many don't even know it.  I hope that if you're reading this and you're going through something difficult that you can know that you'll get through it because you've come this far in life and life and the only way to go is forward! Keep fighting the good fight! I'm rooting for you! 

Favorite Picture From Prince Edward Island

Today my family and I left Prince Edward Island to return home from our vacation. It really is a beautiful place and we all had a wonderful time. I'm glad we still have pictures to remember the trip. Below is a picture I took of the view outside of where we were staying on the island. I like it best because it's pretty and when I look back at it, I'll think of the fun we had there and I'll smile.

As I'm in Prince Edward Island where the author Lucy Maude Montgomery set her Anne of Green Gables novels, I felt I should share a quote from Anne of Green Gables that I've always liked. It is: "“Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”  I like the quote because it reminds me that there's always something better to come. It's comforting and a lovely thought in times of need. I know that I feel better when I think of it because to me it says that every day can be a good day.

It always surprises me when people say life isn't exciting because I've found that even when I thought my day was going to be just the same as the previous day, there are times when things happen that I don't expect. For me, it's finding the unexpected things that make life fun, at least for me. I'm rather glad birthdays exist. Just because I think life is worth celebrating!

It's just nice to relax

Being on vacation makes me think of how nice it is just to relax and live in the moment. It's nice to just think about how nice things are and that I'm happy and with my family.  If I had a wish for everyone I'd wish that everyone has a chance to live in the moment and see how good life can be!
