Three good things today

 In the spirit of finding good things in each day, here are 3 good things that happened in my day today.

1- I had a nice phone call with a friend I hadn't talked to in a while and it was lovely to be able to spend time speaking with her about her new house.

2-I made a really nice shrimp, rice and vegetables dinner which was tasty!

3-I got everything done that I wanted to accomplish.

I rather like the idea that there's always something to hope for and strive for. I figure no one really knows what the future will bring. Snow

 We had a big snowstorm where I live and as much as it's cold, there's something nice about looking out at the snow. Where I grew up we had quite a few snowstorms in the winter and so in some ways, snow reminds me of where I grew up and how I liked to play in the snow as a kid and it was fun to make snowmen and go sledding with my siblings, which was really fun. In short, snow falling makes me think of good times I've had in my life. Wherever you are reading this, I hope you remember good times in your life and that they make you smile. Hooray for hot tea!

 I know it's a little late but I just found out that January is National Hot Tea month, according to the Tea Council of the USA! I grew up in a house where tea was a major part of life so I very much appreciate National Hot Tea Month. Personally, I'm all about the chamomile tea.
