 The  songwriter, lyricist, and compose Frank Loesser was born today in 1910. One of the musicals he's most famous for is called Guys and Dolls. There's a song called "If I Were A Bell" in this musical and I like it because the woman who sings it is just so happy to be in love and to be alive. It always makes me feel good when I hear it. Celebrating Richard Rogers

 The composer Richard Rodgers was born today in 1902 and to celebrate this day, I'm sharing the song below that he composed with Oscar Hammerstein II called "My Favorite Things". Some irregular music

 I was just thinking about the song Take 5 by Paul Desmond because it's famous for being irregular as a lot of jazz standard songs are written in 4/4 time but Take 5 is written in 5/4 time. I like the song because it makes me think of how it can be fun to step out of line and show how you are unique.  Wherever you're reading this, I hope you have many occasions in your life to express yourself in unique ways and that you have many unique moments in your life that you enjoy.
