It’s my birthday today and this somehow got me thinking about a quote from the children’s book Days with Frog and Toad which goes like this: “
I am happy. I am very happy. This morning when I woke up I felt good because the sun was shining. I felt good because I was a frog. And I felt good because I have you as a friend.”
The quote definitely describes how I feel today. Although I’m not a frog, I’ve had a truly happy day and I’m really glad I have friends to share in that happiness. If you’re reading this and it’s also your birthday, I wish you the happiest of birthdays!
