The singer Dean Martin was born today in 1917 and I recently saw a recording of him singing the song "When You're Smiling" to one of his daughters. Somehow it reminded me very much of my Dad. Although he has never sung to me, he's always encouraged me to smile and be optimistic no matter what circumstances I might experience. Anyway, this song always makes me feel more cheerful so I thought I'd share it here. I send everyone best wishes and much love always.
