The Royal Ascot horse races are happening now and one of the things I like about those events is that people wear fancy hats when they go to watch the races.This made me think of how much I like hats. In honor of Juneteenth

 Today is Juneteenth which is a holiday in the US because it celebrates the freeing of enslaved African Americans. More specifically, it's commemorates the day that people who were enslaved in Texas in 1865 found out they had been freed. In celebration of this day, I thought I'd share this beautiful song called "Lift Every Voice and Sing" sung by a choir from Stamford University singing Lift Every Voice and Sing which is traditionally know and the Black National Anthem. Why I love dogs

• Carousels -they're just fun
