The poet, civil rights activist and memoirist, Maya Angelou was born today in 1928 and I’m sharing this quote by her because it reminds me of how good it can feel to cheer people up. Wherever you are reading this, I hope you take many opportunities to do things that help others feel happy in their darker moments. I send everyone best wishes and much love now and always.
