The actor, dancer and singer Gene Kelly was born today in 1912. This got me thinking about how he danced and sang a song called Singin’ in the Rain. Watching him sing that song makes me feel happy because it’s so cheerful. Plus, I like the idea that it’s possible to be so happy that not even rain can take that feeling away.
