It's my parents' wedding anniversary and because I'm really happy for them, I thought I'd write about it here. My parents have gone through a lot and I think they get through things as well as they do because they have each other. My parents' example has taught me that while romance is fun and nice, maintaining a friendship and deep connection is more important and lasting. I think it's that friendship that has helped my parents continue to love and trust and rely on each other. So I write this post to honor them and all couples who also happen to be really close friends. I send everyone (especially those who have anniversaries today) best wishes and much love now and always.
