This evening I went with a good friend to a 40th anniversary event for DEAF Inc, which is an organization in Boston that works to help people that are deaf and hard of hearing to live full and independent lives. I'm glad I was able to go because I'm taking sign language courses at DEAF Inc. i'm really glad there are organizations like DEAF Inc to help build community for people who are deaf and hard of hearing and to help people learn ASL and about deaf culture.
