A fun scientific fact

I saw this little tidbit of information today on Facebook and thought it was worth a share.

Scientifically a raven has 17 primary wing feathers and the big feathers at the end of these birds' wings are called pinion feathers. In contrast, a crow only has 16 pinion feathers so the difference between a crow and a raven is simply a matter of a pinion!
